The Stuarts Draft Cougars triumphed over the host Waynesboro Little Giants softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Stuarts Draft will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA).

The Little Giants (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Wilson Memorial edged Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
