The Harleton Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Union Grove Lions to 6 in the Wildcats league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they host Beckville for a 2A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, April 7. Harleton will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 18-6 league win over Carlisle (Price, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Union Grove drops to 6-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Overton (Overton, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, April 7. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-12. Overton won 14-4 in their recent league test against Ore City (Ore City, TX)
