Louisiana High School Softball - False River knocked off by Maurepas

April 1, 2026: New Roads, LA 70760

The Maurepas Wolves overwhelmed the host False River Gators softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 2. Maurepas will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 32-22 non-league win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA).

The Gators (10-12) will now prepare for their test against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, White Castle toppled Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA), 25-12, in a non-league test.
