The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH) and the host Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH), saw Woodmore's softball squad nip Port Clinton by a count of 13-12.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eastwood for a Northern Buckeye match on Monday, April 12. Woodmore will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Huron (Huron, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Port Clinton falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Edison (Milan, OH) to face the Chargers in a Sandusky Bay - Bay match on Monday, April 12. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 3-0. Edison won 18-2 in their recent non-league match against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH)
