The Allen County-Scottsville Patriots baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Caverna Colonels to 2 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators go into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Greenwood gained a win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 14-3, in a non-league match.
The Colonels (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 11-7 record. In their last match, Nelson County gained a win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 17-1, in a non-league match.
