The Central Chargers baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Kendrick Cherokees to 5 in the Chargers league victory on Monday.
The Chargers (7-14) will now prepare for their match against Kendrick (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees go into the 2A Area 2 match with a 1-14 record. In their last match, Kendrick was overwhelmed by Rutland (Macon, GA), 19-4, in a league match.
The Cherokees (1-16) will now prepare for their match against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers go into the 2A Area 2 match with a 5-14 record. In their last match, Central ran past Spencer (Columbus, GA), 14-0, in a league match.
