North Carolina High School Baseball - Mount Pleasant can't hold off Hickory Ridge

In Monday's non-league game, the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Mount Pleasant Tigers.
The Ragin' Bulls (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers go into the Greater Metro 4A game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Cox Mill was edged by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Union Academy tipped Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 28-1, in a league game.
