California High School Baseball - San Marcos defeats Oxnard

April 10, 2023: Oxnard, CA 93030

Spectators at Monday's league battle between the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) and the host Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA), saw San Marcos's baseball squad knock off Oxnard by a count of 7-2.

Coming up next, the Royals play the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel battle, on Tuesday, April 11. San Marcos will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Tritons enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 5-4 non-league win over St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA).

The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ventura for a Channel battle on Tuesday, April 11. Oxnard will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-12.
