In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Parkersburg Big Reds.
The Patriots (2-9) will now prepare for their game against University (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks go into the Two Rivers game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, University tipped Linsly (Wheeling, WV), 7-4, in a non-league game.
The Big Reds (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins go into the Mountain State game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Hurricane tipped Ripley (Ripley, WV), 10-1, in a league game.
