Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) and the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), saw Saluda's baseball squad knock off Ridge Spring-Monetta by a count of 12-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a 2A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Saluda will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 11-1 league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, SC).

The Trojans now possess a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wagener-Salley for a 1A Region 4 match on Tuesday, April 11.
