In Monday's non-league battle, the host Elgin Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Round Lake Panthers.

The Maroons (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Rockford East went down by Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Round Lake will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL).
