The Munster Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars to 2 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Munster moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hobart (Hobart, IN) to clash with the Brickies in a game on Tuesday, April 18. The Brickies come into the game with a record of 4-0.

In their next game, the Kougars clash with the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a game, on Wednesday, April 12. Kankakee Valley will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Fighting 59ers come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 5-5 league Munster (Munster, IN).
