Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), 13-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Potomac for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Lake Braddock will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, South County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Stallions host Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Alexandria City won 20-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA)
