South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard East for a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 11. South Elgin will face a Rams squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Bartlett falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to face the Maroons in a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Elgin lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
