In Monday's league outing, the visiting Calera Eagles softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Carver Montgomery Wolverines.
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) in a 6A Area 5 outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Calera will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 10-17 record after their 18-3 league win over Carver Montgomery (Montgomery, AL).
The Wolverines (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Chilton County (Clanton, AL). The Tigers enter the 6A Area 5 outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Chilton County was routed by Holtville (Deatsville, AL), 8-7, in a non-league outing.
