Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Senecas now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopewell-Loudon for a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Calvert will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, St. Joseph Central Catholic falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Crimson streaks travel to Old Fort (Old Fort, OH) to face the Stockaders in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Stockaders enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Old Fort won 17-2 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH)
