The Cherokee County Warriors softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Southside Panthers to 5 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Cherokee County improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 4A Area 12 game on Tuesday, April 11. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 14-5. Etowah won 17-5 in their recent non-league game against Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 13. Southside will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 17-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Etowah (Attalla, AL).
