The crowd at Monday's league match between the Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) and the host Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX), saw Marion's softball squad achieve victory over Cole by a count of 17-4.

With the loss, Cole falls to 9-17 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 14. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 10-4. Nixon-Smiley won 8-7 in their recent league match against Marion (Marion, TX)
