Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fort Vancouver Trappers (Vancouver, WA), 25-1 in a league challenge.
The Rapids now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Columbia River will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to R.A. Long (Longview, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Fort Vancouver moves to 0-1 on the season. The Trappers travel to Woodland (Woodland, WA) to meet the Beavers in a 2A Greater St. Helens match on Wednesday, April 12. The Beavers go into the match with a record of 0-3. Woodland lost 12-4 in their recent league match against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA)
