Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Hurricanes now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bethlehem Catholic for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Liberty will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 25-1 league win over East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Easton Area falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rovers host Freedom (Bethlehem, PA) to battle the Patriots in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Freedom won 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA)
