The crowd at Monday's league match between the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) and the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), saw Fenton's softball squad achieve victory over Elgin by a count of 15-2.

The Bison now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. Fenton will face a Grenadiers squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Elgin falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to face the Hawks in a Upstate Eight match on Tuesday, April 11. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 3-2. Bartlett lost 10-5 in their recent league match against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)
