The Fife Trojans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Washington Patriots to 2 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Fife improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA) to clash with the Sentinels in a 2A South Puget Sound game on Wednesday, April 12. The Sentinels come into the game with a record of 0-4. Steilacoom lost 28-1 in their recent non-league game against Black Hills (Tumwater, WA)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Franklin Pierce Cardinals (Tacoma, WA) in a 2A South Puget Sound game, on Tuesday, April 11. Washington will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 8-7 league win over Fife (Fife, WA).
