Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maud for a 1A Region III District 18 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Harleton will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Harts Bluff falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host McLeod (McLeod, TX) to battle the Longhorns in a 1A Region III District 18 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. McLeod won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Bowie (Simms, TX)
