Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Red Wolves now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Forest for a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Thornton Fractional South will face a Bengals squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to face the Braves in a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Bremen lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against De La Salle (Chicago, IL)
