Taylorsville Warriors (Taylorsville, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kearns Cougars (Kearns, UT), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hunter for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Taylorsville will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Providence Hall (Herriman, UT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Kearns falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Granger (West Valley City, UT) to face the Lancers in a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Granger lost 23-0 in their recent league challenge against Hunter (West Valley City, UT)
