The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats routed the visiting Kenedy Lions softball squad by a count of 9-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Bobcats (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 25-2 record. In their last battle, Three Rivers nudged Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 8-0, in a league battle.

The Lions now sport a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Runge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 11. Kenedy will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-8.
