Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Redmen now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bernard for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Killingly will battle a Saints squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Putnam falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Clippers host Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
