In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks softball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Marietta Tigers.
Coming up next, the Big Blacks encounter the Man Hillbillies (Man, WV) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hillbillies enter the outing with a 4-3 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their outing against Athens (The Plains, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Athens prevailed over Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH), 13-2, in a league outing.
