Pennsylvania High School Softball - North Pocono holds off West Scranton

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) and the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), saw North Pocono's softball squad nip West Scranton by a count of 10-8.
The Trojans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 2 match on Wednesday, April 12. North Pocono will face a Buckhorns squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, West Scranton falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Invaders host Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to face the Comets in a Lackawanna 1 match on Wednesday, April 12. The Comets enter the match with a record of 0-2.
