Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN) and the host Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN), witnessed Riverside's softball squad tip Wayne County by a count of 3-1.

The Panthers now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Adamsville for a 2A District 13 match on Thursday, April 13. Riverside will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Wayne County moves to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Richland (Lynnville, TN) to meet the Raiders in a 1A District 10 match on Tuesday, April 11. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 1-2. Richland lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Columbia Central (Columbia, TN)
