Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) and the visiting Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA), witnessed Winchester's baseball team achieve victory over Arlington by a tally of 9-7.
The Red & Black now hold a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellingham for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 13. Winchester will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 11-2 league win over Millis (Millis, MA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Spy Ponders confront the Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) in a Middlesex - Liberty outing, on Thursday, April 11. Arlington will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Marauders go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Reading Memorial (Reading, MA).
