The Baconton Charter Blazers got by the visiting Quitman County Hornets baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Blazers now possess a 20-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a non-league bout on Friday, April 12. Baconton Charter will face a Gryphons team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 19-6.
Next, the Hornets face the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 1 bout, on Friday, April 12. Quitman County will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 13-9 record after their 15-0 league win over Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA).
