In Wednesday's league challenge, the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) baseball squad the visiting Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA), by a final score of 8-4.
With the win, Clarke County upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to battle the Falcons in a Bull Run challenge on Friday, April 12. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Central Woodstock lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)
Next, the Bulldogs face the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a Bull Run bout, on Thursday, April 11. Luray will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
