North Carolina High School Baseball - Mitchell loses to Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats crushed the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Madison for a Western Highlands 1A/2A bout on Friday, April 12. Draughn will face a Patriots team coming off a 17-6 league win over Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle, on Monday, April 15. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 6-3 league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).
