The South Elgin Storm baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Elgin Maroons to 5 in the Storm league victory on Wednesday.
The Storm (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Hawks go into the Upstate Eight match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Bartlett was overwhelmed by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 4-3, in a league match.
The Maroons (0-8) will now prepare for their match against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, South Elgin was overwhelmed by Bartlett (Bartlett, IL), 10-1, in a league match.
