Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Western Wayne defeats Holy Cross

In Wednesday's league challenge, the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) baseball squad the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA), by a margin of 6-1.

With the win, Western Wayne betters its record to 4-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Tri-Valley won 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA)

With the defeat, Holy Cross falls to 1-4 on the season. The Crusaders host Mid Valley (Throop, PA) to encounter the Spartans in a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Monday, April 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Mid Valley won 17-7 in their recent non-league test against Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA)
