Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) and the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs (Greenwood, MS), saw Magnolia Heights's baseball squad beat Pillow Academy by a margin of 4-2.

Coming up next, the Chiefs play the Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Magnolia Heights will attempt to better on its 24-4 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 9-7 league loss to Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS).

The Mustangs now sport a 6-10 record.
