The Sweet Springs Greyhounds baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Santa Fe Chiefs to 9 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, MO). The Cardinals come into the Class 2 District 13 challenge with a 5-4 record.

With the defeat, Santa Fe falls to 0-7 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Concordia (Concordia, MO) to battle the Fighting Orioles in a Class 2 District 14 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Fighting Orioles come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.
