The Monroe Vikings topped the visiting Arleta Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a East Valley test on Friday, April 12. Monroe will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 20-7.

The Mustangs (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots enter the East Valley test with a 14-16 record. In their last test, Poly gained a win over Monroe (North Hills, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
