In Wednesday's league outing, the Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA), by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Hercules upgrades its record to 15-3 on the year. The Titans host Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, April 12. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 8-3. Contra Costa Christian won 3-0 in their recent league outing against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA)

The Spartans now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to El Cerrito for a Tri-County outing on Friday, April 12. Pinole Valley will face a Gauchos squad coming off a 3-1 league win over St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 14-10.
