The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Oak Forest Bengals to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Vikings now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league game on Monday, April 15. Homewood-Flossmoor will confront a Steelmen team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 5-10.

The Bengals (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the South Suburban game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South dropped by Argo (Summit, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
