Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), 14-5 in a non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Minisink Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. Valley Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 11. Kingston will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Goldbacks come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
