Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI), 17-8 in a non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomfield Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. Catholic Central will face a Black Hawks squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Black Hawks record now stands at 3-1.
In their next game, the Rams face the Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 15. Rockford will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
