The Vanguards (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against California (Whittier, CA). The Condors enter the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, California was overwhelmed by Tustin (Tustin, CA), 10-3, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 12. Valencia will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Lightning come into the battle with a 0-11 record after their 13-9 league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA).
