In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Forest Hills Northern Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Spring Lake Lakers.
The Huskies now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brighton for a non-league test on Thursday, April 11.
In their next game, the Lakers face the Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 12. Spring Lake will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 22-4 non-league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI).
