Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Sultans now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burroughs for a challenge on Friday, April 12. Sultana will battle a Burros squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Burros record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Apple Valley falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Sun devils travel to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a challenge on Friday, April 12.
