North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 15-4 in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Providence for a Division 4 battle on Friday, April 12. North Providence will clash with a Townies squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Townies record now stands at 1-2.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts clash with the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Thursday, April 11. Cranston East will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Northmen come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 15-7 league win over Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
