In Wednesday's non-league test, the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets lacrosse squad scored a good 21-7 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Yellow Jackets now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brentsville District for a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. James Monroe will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Fighting Hornets face the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, April 12. Orange County will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 14-4 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
