Virginia High School Soccer - Westmoreland knocks off King William

Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting King William Cavaliers (King William, VA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a Northern Neck challenge, on Monday, April 15. Westmoreland will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Northumberland (Heathsville, VA).
The Cavaliers now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Carver College and Career Academy for a Tidewater bout on Monday, April 15. King William will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 10-0 league loss to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.
