The Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ) softball routed the host Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ), 12-6 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Glassboro was routed by Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ), 14-4, in a league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Cape May County Tech for a Cape-Atlantic - United bout on Thursday, April 11. Lower Cape May will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
